Queen Victoria is portrayed in a medieval style, wearing a dress embroidered with roses representing England, thistles representing Scotland, and Shamrocks representing Ireland. Using a digital scan of an original Gothic Crown held in The Royal Mint’s archives, the talented craftsmen at the mint enhanced the original’s detail and removed the blemishes of time to create a piece of incredible beauty and quality.
