Which Countries are the Largest Producers of Silver in the World?

By GovMint :
Mexico is currently the world's largest silver producer, contributing approximately 6,400 metric tons of the lustrous metal annually. Major mining operations such as Fresnillo's Zacatecas silver mine and Newmont's Peñasquito polymetallic mine drive a lot of Mexico's significant output. After Mexico, China and Peru are the next leading silver producers worldwide. China produces around 3,400 tons of silver annually, while Peru produces 3,100 metric tons. China's silver production is primarily a by-product of other metal mining, while Peru boasts some of the world's largest-known silver reserves.
