Here we have the one-year-only 1939 Canada Parliament Silver Dollar struck to commemorative the visit of Great Britain’s King George VI. ​The 1939 royal tour by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth represented the first time that a reigning Canadian monarch had stepped foot in the country. An underlying goal of the tour, which included a four-day visit to the United States, was to shore up critical Canadian, British and American relations on the eve of World War II.

Each coin available in this offer has been graded in Very Fine to Extremely Fine (VF–XF) condition — meaning that despite being commemoratives, these coins may have entered circulation.
