1964-1999 Kennedy Half Dollar 20-pc Roll BU
Twenty-Coin Rolls of 20th Century Kennedy Half Dollars
The story of the Kennedy Half Dollar is now numismatic legend. After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in November of 1963, Congress moved quickly to ensure that the United States Mint would be able to create new half dollars featuring the former president’s profile along with the Presidential Seal. The coins were released in January of the following year — just a few short months after JFK’s passing. The design replaced the existing Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar, and Kennedy has remained the face of the denomination ever since.
Twenty Coins, Twenty Different Dates
Here you can secure a 20-coin roll of Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Kennedy Half Dollars containing 20 different dates from the 20th Century (1964–1999). Your roll is guaranteed to include a Kennedy Half Dollar struck in 40% fine silver, dated between 1965 and 1970. The U.S. Mint stopped production of Kennedy Half Dollars for circulation in 2001, and from then on has only struck these coins for collectors!
To secure all of these coins would be a painstaking endeavor, especially if you were to try and seek them out one at a time. But we’ve brought together an incredible variety of dates and mint marks. Plus, each roll will come protected by a numismatic tube.
