Topping off the design is the famous quote from General Alfred Gray, the 29th Marine commandant that summed up the lethal skill of every Leatherneck that serves in the Corps: “EVERY MARINE A RIFLEMAN.” The reverse design shows the familiar Marine Corps Eagle, Globe & Anchor emblem encircled by a rope border.
