America’s First Small-Sized $2 Paper Currency Note
The poor $2 bill. It seems that this unique form of paper currency has never had a home in modern cash registers where ones, fives, tens and twenties hog all the slots, leaving the poor old “Toms” to fend for themselves beneath the drawer or folded up in a store clerk’s shirt pocket. Ask most paper currency collectors and they’ll tell you that the $2 bill is the least useful of all the denominations. But, if you ask them what their favorite note is, they’ll probably agree that it is that same $2 bill!
The 1928 $2 Legal Tender notes available in this offer are the first small-sized $2 paper currency notes in U.S. history. Each bears the now-rarely seen $2 denomination, the portrait of President Thomas Jefferson and an attractive red seal and serial number. The reverse displays a highly detailed engraving of Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello. Each note comes in Very Fine (VF) condition.
Because they’re so rarely used, many people don’t believe a $2 bill is real even when they see it. It’s even ignited a wild conspiracy theory that has hoodwinked many an unsuspecting teenager trying to keep up while operating the till at a fast food joint or retail store. But they’re real all right, and the ones we have here are spectacular! Secure yours today!
