1942 10 Cents Mercury Dimes BU
Get a Piece of This Mercury Dime Hoard
One of our buyers recently discovered an impressive dime hoard. Because of this, you can own a real piece of American history: a dime that was struck in 1942, the year of the Battle of Midway during World War II. The U.S. weakened Japan’s naval strength by destroying four of its aircraft carriers—to our advantage, they never recovered. Each 1942-P Mercury Dime was struck more than 70 years ago in 90% silver. Each comes in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. Many of these were melted down for their silver content making them scarce; finding them in this condition is even more of a rarity! Each comes with a certificate of authenticity.
