Secure One Of The Last Standing Liberty Quarters

The Standing Liberty Quarter was a workhorse coin in the United States during World War I and through the Great Depression. Struck from 1916 to 1930, it initially caused quite a scandal as its design featured Liberty with an exposed breast. But as we went to war, Liberty donned a vest of chain mail that she would wear until the series’ end.

A Design Not Seen In 90 Years

While the Standing Liberty Silver Quarters were last struck in 1930, it wasn’t actually replaced until 1932. After striking no quarters at all in 1931 due to the Great Depression, the U.S. Mint struck a new 25-cent piece in 1932 with the introduction of the Washington Quarter. Intended as a one-year-only release to honor President George Washington’s 200th birthday, the commemorative proved so popular that it replaced the Standing Liberty Quarter and is still struck to this day.

Now you can secure one of these classic Standing Liberty Quarters minted during the last six years of the series. The date and mint mark varies, but your coin is guaranteed to be struck between 1925 and 1930 from 90% fine silver. Plus, your coin will arrive in About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated (AU–BU) condition—a quality you don’t actively find in today’s market! Hurry and order now!

COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

  • SHORT-LIVED ICONIC DESIGN – The design of Miss Liberty standing, shield in hand and holding an olive branch, was designed by sculptor Herman Atkins MacNeil. The coin’s reverse shows a flying eagle. The series was struck for just 15 years from 1916-1930 and was replaced in 1932 by the Washington Quarter.
  • ONE OF THE LAST COINS IN THE SERIES – The coins available here were struck during the last six years of the series between 1925 and 1930. Date and mint marks will vary.
  • STRUCK IN FINE SILVER – Each coin was struck in 6.25 grams of highly pure 90% fine silver and measures 24.3 mm in diameter
  • LEGAL-TENDER COINS – Standing Liberty Silver Quarters were 25 cents legal tender in the United States.
  • GRADED IN AU–BU CONDITION – Your Standing Liberty will come in About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated (AU–BU) condition—a remarkable state considering that coins like this were heavily utilized during the Great Depression.

Act now to secure one of these vintage Standing Liberty Quarters. It’s a remarkable coin that represents an exciting era in American history from a century ago!
