Here you have a wonderful collection for any history buff consisting of ten coins from ten different countries that were part of World War II’s European Theatre—a vast area of operations that began with Nazi Germany’s invasion of Poland in 1939. These coins pay particular tribute to the D-Day landings in France on June 6, 1944 that brought together the combined land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history.
