Celebrating The 25th Anniversary Of Queen Elizabeth II’s Reign
The obverse is reminiscent of the 1953 Coronation Crown with an equestrian portrait of the Queen in her Guards uniform. The reverse features the Ampulla and the ceremonial spoon used to anoint the sovereign at the coronation, surrounded by the Crown of St. Edward and the heraldic flowers of the United Kingdom. In 1977 when these coins were released, thousands of people gathered in the streets of London for a glimpse of the queen as she and her husband, Prince Philip, took a ceremonial ride through the city in the 260-year-old gilded Gold State Coach—the same carriage that had transported the queen to her coronation in 1953.
You won’t find a better price for a 100-piece roll of these coins than what you’ll find here. HURRY!
